Specializations

At the Law Firm, Mariusz coordinates bankruptcy and restructuring cases.

He specializes in legal and financial advisory in business, and especially in managing financial liquidity in extraordinary cases, including with the use of the instruments offered by bankruptcy and restructuring law. He also has extensive experience in corporate law, working with domestic and foreign clients as part of his daily practice.

Experience

He has been providing advisory to businesses (commercial companies and partnerships and sole proprietorships), receivers, and restructuring advisors. He has also advised large enterprises, including listed companies and international corporations with branches in Poland.

He provides services in terms of bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings to enterprises operating in the telecommunications, construction, and energy sectors.

He has carried out projects concerning e.g. an analysis of the current situation of enterprises, representation of enterprises in restructuring and bankruptcy proceedings, and provision of comprehensive services to receivers.

Publications

Mariusz has been sharing his professional experience during numerous conferences, training seminars, and specialist workshops (the INSO Congress organized by the Allerhand Institute), as well as in specialist press (Forbes, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, Doradca restrukturyzacyjny).

Mariusz graduated in law from the Jagiellonian University and from the University of the West of Scotland (Bachelor of Arts with Honors—Law). He has been a member of the Kraków Bar Association of Attorneys-at-Law since 2015.

He is also an active member of the Allerhand Institute and the European Association of Insolvency Practitioners. Mariusz is a Polish expert for the World Bank in terms of bankruptcy and restructuring law and a member of the team set up by the Polish Minister of Justice to work on amendments to restructuring law.

He speaks fluent English.
