KWKR and Ufenau Capital Partners, a leading European private equity fund, are jointly launching a project to consolidate the professional services market in Poland and the CEE region. This is the first initiative of its kind in the legal sector in Poland, based on the ‘buy-and-build’ strategy realized by the Swiss-based fund. Furthermore, it constitutes Ufenau’s first investment in Poland. The project opens a new chapter for KWKR, which is growing dynamically by expanding its team and competencies, and for the market, where a strong group of professionals is emerging, supported by Ufenau’s capital and know-how.

In its nearly 15-year history, Ufenau Capital Partners has completed hundreds of successful transactions in Western Europe. The capital partnership with KWKR was established as part of Ufenau’s seventh fund, raised in 2022, with a value exceeding EUR 1 billion. The existing partners of KWKR will remain in the ownership structure and will continue to manage the company. The team of experts and the values that guide KWKR will remain unchanged – the company will retain full operational autonomy and will continue to provide specialized legal and tax services.

This project is unique: it is the first investment of its kind by a private equity fund in a law firm in Poland.
