We will guide you through the meanders of Polish law

Polish legislation and the tax system, especially in the context of the changes that came into force on 1st of July this year, may seem complicated to young, aspiring entrepreneurs. Well, as the famous saying goes: everything is difficult, but only at the beginning! Our TMT specialist – Piotr Grochowski – will help you take your first steps on the road to success by guiding seminar participants through the meanders of Polish law.   

Main cases discussed during the seminar:  

  • A brief overview of the most popular forms of running a business in Poland.   
  • A review of the possibilities of raising public funding for startups.   
  • Essentials of taxation for companies and individuals in the context of employing the latter by the former (employment contract vs. B2B), with particular emphasis on the IT industry.   
  • Tax reliefs for IT companies. 

About the speaker

Piotr specializes in intellectual property and new technologies law, commercial law, including commercial contract law. He has knowledge in the field of personal data protection law and the relocation of foreign workers. He speaks English, German, Russian and Ukrainian (He has the Cambridge Proficiency in English language certificate (CPE – level C2) and Тест по Русскому как иностранному-3 (ТРКИ-3 – level C1).

The seminar is focused on entities interested in registering, starting, and developing their business in Poland under legal regulations. Our specialist addresses the presentation, especially to owners of new, innovative enterprises looking for sources of financing and/or a business model which would ensure their profitable growth in the Polish market.
