Disputes over IP rights are often very high-profile for various reasons. First of all, they can be very complicated, sometimes it even happens that both sides of a dispute are right. It is also often difficult to determine whether there has been any infringement of, for example, copyright. Thirdly, court decisions can cost a lot of money.
That’s why it’s worth increasing your legal awareness in this area. IP Student speakers, including our expert in new technology law Łukasz Wieczorek, take care to increase such awareness among students.
IP Student is the next (13th) edition of the series of workshops on intellectual property law and new technologies. It is organized by the Scientific Association of Intellectual Property Law Supporters at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University in cooperation with the K. Tusiński Law Office. In addition, many entities and specialists from all over Poland engage in the event.
In the previous edition, more than 50 specialists from 30 companies and law firms shared their knowledge about IP and new technologies for approximately 145 hours. This is an excellent opportunity for law students to learn about such a difficult and sometimes debatable area of law. In addition, the material has been prepared in response to the changing IP law and the ever newer market requirements.
Our speaker, Łukasz Wieczorek, will pay particular attention to changes in the world of new technology law. In addition, thanks to many years of experience, he will be able to introduce students to the world of foreign licenses and patents.
Recruitment for the series of workshops with the participation of our expert is still open! Applications can be sent by clicking on the link. Details of the event can be found here. We also encourage you to read the interview with Łukasz Wieczorek, who once again participates in this project.
