Paulina Opiełka – Konieczny Wierzbicki’s Rising Star
“Rising Stars Lawyers – Leaders of Tomorrow” is a prestigious competition organized by Wolters Kluwer Polska. Its purpose is to honor young lawyers who have outstanding achievements related to law. The awarded individuals are socially committed, show considerable innovation in their work, and take many new initiatives.
We are proud to announce that in this year’s edition of “Rising Stars Lawyers – Leaders of Tomorrow 2021” Paulina Opiełka, who supervises the Corporate Department team, has been awarded.
Paulina Opiełka specializes in entry and exit transactions, M&A, and corporate services for companies, private equity investors, and venture capital funds. She supports entrepreneurs in divestment processes or the commercialization of R&D results while raising capital from private and public funds. She advises several VC funds co-financed by NCBR and PFR (BRIdge Alfa, PFR Starter, PFR Open Innovations, Swiss-Polish Cooperation Programme).
She has been involved in numerous VC funds disinvestment processes. Among others, she participated in the process of spin-off of a special purpose company operating on the e-recruitment market and its sale to OLX Group. She also supervised the sale of an organized part of the enterprise of a client dealing with IT services in the SaaS model to the EY group.
Apart from that, Paulina undertakes various initiatives connected with raising legal awareness among young people. She conducts numerous international seminars on mediation and negotiation, teaching her pupils alternative dispute resolution.
We are extremely pleased that Paulina’s work has been recognized in the only such competition in Poland. We are proud that more people have appreciated her commitment to raising public awareness of the law. We congratulate all the awardees and wish Paulina further well-deserved success!
