Audit of compliance of the company for one of the largest online bookmakers

For our client, one of the largest online bookmakers in Poland, we have audited the company’s compliance with the provisions on personal data protection. The work required taking into account the functioning of the client within an international group of entities and the obligations resulting from internal regulations established at the group level and their relationship with the provisions of Polish law.

As part of the audit, it was necessary to evaluate both on-line operations (using a website and a mobile application for players) and data processing within a network of approximately one hundred ground-based branches. The audit took into account the client’s operation within a highly regulated market and the relationship between the provisions on the protection of personal data and the provisions on gambling and on counteracting money laundering and terrorist financing.
