International acquisition of several companies from the group of one of the largest gaming technology operators in the world

The company designs and manufactures software for the electronic entertainment market. Its main area of operations is the delivery of innovative and competitive software solutions. The company is also a part of the research and development department of a tycoon on the global entertainment market.

Our Law Firm provided legal services with respect to an international transaction of acquisition of four Polish members of one of the largest operators of gaming technologies in the world. The transaction was carried out between a Swiss company and a company based in Austria. We provided comprehensive legal services, including in terms of corporate and tax matters, with one of the largest Polish brokerage houses involved. The value of the transaction stood at EUR 67M.

We also supported a downstream merger of Novo-Poland and Estrada Polska. The key element of the transaction was to solve the legal issues related to the need of a temporary acquisition by Estrada Polska of its own shares (previously owned by Novo-Poland as the main shareholder of Estrada Polska). Estrada Polska carries out operations in terms of organization of gambling on the basis of the relevant legal permissions.
