Konieczny Wierzbicki’s lawyers provided help regarding personal data protection in several cases that were of key importance to the companies in the group currently having as many as 141 (employing more than 11 thousand employees).
We have implemented a project the purpose of which was to prepare and verify the register of processing activities and the register of categories of data processing activities in all companies belonging to the international Group, required under the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Due to the international scale of the project and a short period of time, it required setting up a team of over a dozen of multilingual lawyers (English, German, French, Spanish and Russian speakers), flexibility in work planning and full availability in non-standard working hours (i.a. due to the need to contact the Company’s employees from almost 90 countries in many different time zones). Our work also required using a dedicated IT solution, which required the lawyers to efficiently familiarize themselves with all necessary functionalities of such tool.
We have represented the company in front of the Polish Supervisory Authority in a case regarding processing of personal data by one of the companies from the group. We were able to help the company achieve a fully satisfactory outcome of the proceeding.
