We provide comprehensive legal services, including in the field of personal data protection to a Krakow-based software house, which offers its services and products to clients from all over the world (e.g. in the USA). Our duties included both the works to prepare the company to GDPR coming into force, as well as ongoing service as part of the activities in the IT sector. As a result, the company has also obtained an ISO 27:001 certification, which confirms that the procedures that we helped implement meet the highest standards.
At the same time, we helped in the creation and commercialization of innovative IT solutions operating in the cloud environment and using artificial intelligence to provide services.
Our task was, among others, to create for these solutions (offered in a Software as a Service model) such documentation as the Terms & Conditions or the Privacy Policy, as well as to develop a concept for the collection and processing of personal data processed while using these tools in a manner that complies with the laws on the provision of services by electronic means and GDPR.
Both projects required a combination of technical knowledge about the applied solutions with a legal analysis of regulations and the applicable jurisprudence regulating the use of techniques for collecting information about the website users.
