Specializations

Aleksandra specializes in business law, focusing on the law of new technologies (IT), intellectual property law, personal data protection law, unfair competition law, and public procurements law. At the Law Firm, she manages the department providing legal services to IT enterprises.

Experience

She has extensive experience in the area of new technologies. As part of her practice, she negotiates contracts for the provision of services in the IT area and contracts concerning intellectual property rights, considering the specificity of the issues related to broadly understood finance and banking regulations. Aleksandra has participated in a number of projects, drafting and negotiating agreements carried out using both classic methodologies (Waterfall) and agile methodologies, as well as based on the SaaS model. She provides advisory mainly to clients operating in the financial, banking, insurance, leasing, transport, and hotel industries.

She has participated in tens of projects concerning the implementation of innovative IT solutions, including e.g. the implementation of primary systems for servicing end customers, both retail and corporate, for leading banks, as well as systems for handling their internal processes. Aleksandra has provided legal services to clients in areas such as mobile and web applications, video verification applications, and services related to integrating the client’s product with Google Assistant. In her everyday work, she supports clients in areas such as intellectual property rights, organizational structures, and other aspects related to their business operations.

She has published e.g. in Rzeczpospolita, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, and IT Professional.

Aleksandra is an attorney-at-law and has been a member of the Kraków Bar Association of Attorneys-at-Law since 2015. She graduated in law from and completed postgraduate studies in mediation and other alternative dispute solution methods at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University.
