Autumn promotions at KWKR

As many as five members of the KWKR team have been promoted to higher positions. This is a recognition of their professionalism, commitment, and contribution to the development of the law firm and providing clients with the highest level of service.

Radosław Urban – Senior Associate in the Tax Team

Radosław Urban, a tax advisor specializing in CIT and PIT taxes as well as international taxation, has been promoted to Senior Associate.

“For me, this promotion is a strong confirmation that I am developing and that others recognize it. It strengthens my self-confidence and gives me momentum for further action. It’s a wonderful feeling,” comments Radosław Urban.

Radosław has advised individuals and entrepreneurs from various industries and of different sizes – from sole proprietorships, through non-governmental organizations, to international capital groups and State Treasury companies. He has reviewed restructuring operations, implemented innovation tax reliefs, and conducted tax audits. He is the author of numerous press publications (including in Rzeczpospolita, Forbes, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna) and co-author of books on tax matters. He also conducts tax training sessions.

Anna Matulka – Senior Associate in the Property Team

Anna Matulka, a legal counsel specializing in real estate law, has been promoted to Senior Associate in the property team.

“This promotion at KWKR is a huge satisfaction for me and a sense of appreciation for my work so far. I thank the KWKR property team for their support, trust, and inspiring collaboration every day – I’m glad to be part of this team. This step gives me even more motivation for further development and taking on new challenges,” says Anna Matulka.

Anna specializes in legal support for complex real estate purchase, sale, and lease transactions. She has extensive experience in conducting legal due diligence of real estate and in preparing legal documentation related to real estate transactions and their commercialization. She also deals with matters related to easements, particularly in the area of analyzing the legal status of properties, negotiating and preparing agreements for the establishment and exercise of easements, and represents clients in court proceedings in such matters. She has participated in administrative proceedings concerning complex construction processes and has experience in conducting proceedings regarding property defects and disputes arising from their acquisition.

Jagoda Rzechowska-Ochrym – Senior Associate in the Property Team

Jagoda Rzechowska-Ochrym, a legal counsel specializing in real estate law, has also been promoted to Senior Associate in the property team.

“This promotion is the result of many small steps, daily choices, and a large dose of consistency and commitment. Proof that persistence, determination, and self-belief can truly achieve a lot. I thank everyone who supports, motivates, and inspires action – it’s the people who create an environment where you can reach really high. And there’s no shortage of such people at KWKR! And I must admit that I greatly appreciate the fact that my unconventional sense of humor meets equally unconventional minds. Thanks to this, we tackle our clients’ challenges with a smile – and we do it with genuine pleasure. The next stage is ahead of me – with new energy, a bit of humility, and great curiosity about what comes next,” comments Jagoda Rzechowska-Ochrym.

Jagoda specializes in broadly understood real estate law, with particular emphasis on real estate investments. She conducts legal due diligence of properties and prepares, reviews, and negotiates transaction documentation. She advises investors, development companies, and other entities operating in the real estate market on the investment and construction process, including in administrative proceedings related to planning decisions, as well as on the lease and commercialization of office and warehouse space. Jagoda has many years of transactional experience and has participated in prestigious, multimillion-dollar transactions in the real estate market.

Maciej Ziemiański – Associate in the Corporate Team

Maciej Ziemiański, a legal counsel trainee, has been promoted to Associate in the corporate team.

“Working at KWKR means daily challenges – you never know what matter a client will approach us with today. Meeting them is not easy, but possible thanks to the commitment and competence of the team, which is the greatest value of the law firm and to whom I am grateful for their daily support. I’m pleased that my contribution to its development has been appreciated.

Sometimes easier paths are tempting, but it’s the more demanding ones that bring the most satisfaction. This recognition is confirmation for me that although sometimes the road seems to lengthen, it’s worth consistently following a difficult but ambitious path,” emphasizes Maciej Ziemiański.

Maciej is a graduate of law at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, where he defended his master’s thesis on the regulation of crowdfunding services, and a graduate of postgraduate studies in Tax Advisory and Tax Management at the University of Economics in Wrocław.

During his studies, he received the UJ rector’s scholarship for the best students, served as Scientific Expert for Banking in the Banking Law department of the PGIH TBSP UJ Scientific Circle, and became a finalist in the Private Banking Law competition. He completed a Financial Markets course certified by Yale University and holds a PMI Global R.E.P. certificate (Project Management – A Practical Approach).

His areas of professional interest include broadly understood economic and commercial law, capital markets law, and tax law.

Marta Czepiel – Associate in the TMT Team

Marta Czepiel, a legal counsel trainee, has been promoted to Associate in the TMT team.

“I am very grateful for the trust and support of the entire team – this promotion is an opportunity for me to continue developing and perfecting my skills,” says Marta Czepiel.

Marta specializes in new technologies (IT/TMT), FinTech, and IT contracts. In the TMT team, she provides legal advisory services for technology projects, prepares and negotiates IT service agreements, and provides legal support for innovative solutions in the financial technology area.

She is a graduate of law at Jagiellonian University in Krakow and a recipient of the UJ rector’s scholarship in 2021-2023. During her studies, she completed the American Law School program conducted in cooperation with Columbus School of Law at The Catholic University in Washington (D.C.). She is currently a legal counsel trainee at the Regional Bar Association of Legal Counsels in Krakow.
