III Data Quality Forum 2025. Organic vs. Synthetic Data? A conference dedicated to data quality in research

On October 23, 2025, the III Data Quality Forum — one of the most important industry conferences devoted to data quality in research — will take place in the multimedia hall of the Faculty of Modern Languages at the University of Warsaw (55 Dobra Street). The event is initiated and organized by the technology company SoftArchitect. The KWKR law firm is a partner of the event, and Łukasz Wieczorek, partner at KWKR, will deliver a presentation during the conference.

The Data Quality Forum is an annual meeting of experts and practitioners dedicated to exchanging experiences and discussing the standards and future of data collection and use in marketing, media, social, and academic research.

The main theme of DQF 2025: Organic or synthetic data?

The world around us is changing faster than ever before. Along with the dynamic development of artificial intelligence, the entire landscape of market, opinion, and user research is evolving. Synthetic data — generated by algorithms and used to train models, optimize costs, and accelerate analyses — is appearing more and more often in research processes. Following this trend, hybrid models are emerging, combining organic data — collected directly from respondents — with synthetically generated data.

These changes bring about the need for new definitions, classifications, and standards. What does it actually mean for data to be synthetic? Where is the line between organic and synthetic data? How can we assess the quality of such data, as well as the research processes and tools that rely on them?

These are precisely the questions that will be discussed at this year’s Data Quality Forum. Under the theme Organic or synthetic data?, the event will bring together research industry leaders, representatives of agencies, academia, technology, and regulation. The goal is not only to exchange perspectives but also to develop joint conclusions and recommendations that will help everyone better navigate the new, complex data landscape.

We want the participants of the third edition of the Forum — regardless of their specialization — to leave with a deeper understanding of data quality in the AI era. This is not only a question of data sources but above all about trust, responsibility, and methodological transparency. This matters, because together we are shaping the future of the research world, emphasize the organizers, Rafał Sobczak and Grzegorz Kowalski from SoftArchitect.
