In the 19th edition of the competition for the best scientific article, the Polish Patent Office selected a dozen or so submissions. Our intellectual property attorney Przemysław Juściński’s Bachelor’s dissertation was among the prize-winners.
Every year, the Polish Patent Office announces a nationwide competition for the best scientific article on intellectual property. On November 24, 2021, the competition jury selected from among the submitted entries those which, in their opinion, have the highest scientific value.
We are proud to announce that a member of our TMT team, Przemysław Juściński, has been awarded the First Prize by the Minister of Education and Science for his bachelor’s thesis “Permitted Use of Computer Programs”. In his research, Przemysław focused on the analysis of particular fair use provisions in the context of computer programs. At the same time, he drew attention to the possibility of their practical software application. There were also reflections related to Polish and European legal regulations on computer programs.
Przemysław specializes in intellectual property law, unfair competition law, and new technologies law (IT). Additionally, he is an expert in business law and litigation law. He prepares and negotiates contracts in the field of IT and intellectual property law in international trade, with particular emphasis on master agreements, license agreements, and IT system support agreements. He conducts litigation and conciliation proceedings. In addition, he has experience in conducting proceedings before the Patent Office. His extensive knowledge of IP law has repeatedly helped our clients achieve their projects.
We are proud to have such an outstanding trainee on our team. We believe that with us, Przemysław will spread his wings in the international arena, supporting entrepreneurs in the protection of their intellectual property rights.
