Bio
Specialisation
He specialises in technology law, with a particular focus on the implementation and application of European Union regulations concerning digital technologies. He advises on IT contracts, balancing regulatory requirements with business needs. He provides services in the areas of commercial law, intellectual property, civil law and employment law.
Experience
He has practical experience in providing legal services to businesses – ranging from day-to-day advice to support for organisational, regulatory and technological projects. He focuses on compliance, data protection, IT contracts, information security and cybersecurity; he has participated in the implementation and auditing of ISO-compliant systems. He helps identify legal risks, prepare recommendations and implement solutions to minimise legal exposure. He has many years’ experience in managing teams, processes and project delivery, which enables him to combine a legal perspective with a practical understanding of technology and organisation.
For many years, he worked on the business side of IT as a project manager, delivering technology projects and collaborating directly with technical teams and business stakeholders. His professional path included not only leading projects and programmes, but also managing a project management department and providing operational oversight of an entire project portfolio. As a result, he has a strong understanding of clients’ needs, the way they operate, and the organisational realities in which they function, which enables him to provide advice that takes into account not only legal aspects, but also practical project and operational considerations.
Education
He graduated in Computer Science from the Faculty of Automation, Electronics and Computer Science at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, and in Law from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Silesia. He supplemented his education with a postgraduate Executive MBA programme at the Warsaw University of Technology Business School and a postgraduate course at the Academy of Leadership Psychology. Thanks to his interdisciplinary background, he combines technical, business and legal expertise.
