Specializations
He specializes in consumer law, civil law, intellectual property law, and new technologies law.
Experience
He has experience in providing legal services to entrepreneurs operating, among others, in the IT, construction, marketing, and education sectors. He participated in drafting and negotiating agreements for the creation, implementation, and maintenance of computer software, as well as other contracts in the fields of intellectual property law, data protection, civil law, and commercial law. He advised on the preparation of contract templates and terms of service with regard to their compliance with consumer law. He represented clients in civil, administrative, and administrative court proceedings. He supported the implementation of personal data protection regulations, including in the non-public education sector (such as online schools).
He combines practice in these areas of law with academic and teaching activities at the Jagiellonian University. He is the principal investigator of a research project entitled “The impact of the nature of digital goods on liability for breach of obligation,” carried out under a grant awarded by the National Science Centre. He has several years of experience conducting civil law classes and courses for postgraduate students in the program “Contract law in consumer and professional trade.”
Education and professional qualifications
Attorney-at-law at the District Chamber of Attorneys-at-Law in Kraków (bar exam passed in 2020), graduate of the attorney-at-law training program.
Graduate of the Doctoral School of Social Sciences at the Jagiellonian University (2025), author of a doctoral dissertation entitled “Consumer withdrawal from a contract due to non-conformity of digital content, digital service, or goods with digital elements with the contract.”
Graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University, majoring in Law. Winner of the 2nd prize in the competition of the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) for the best master’s theses in the field of consumer protection (2017).
Publications
Author of academic publications (including the monograph “The consumer’s right to a court” and articles in academic journals, as well as chapters in collective works in the fields of consumer law, data protection, intellectual property, and new technologies). Co-author of a commentary on the Consumer Rights Act, published in 2025 by C.H. Beck under the editorship of Prof. M. Pecyna. The full list of academic publications is available here.
