Specializations

Wojciech Dybka specialises in consumer law, civil law, intellectual property law, new technology law and data protection. He advises businesses on contracts, the implementation of IT systems, compliance with consumer regulations and the protection of intellectual property in the digital environment.

Experience

Wojciech has advised entrepreneurs operating in the IT, construction, marketing and education sectors. His experience includes drafting and negotiating software development, implementation and maintenance agreements, as well as contracts concerning intellectual property, data protection, civil law and commercial law.

He has also supported clients in preparing contract templates and terms of service to ensure compliance with consumer protection regulations. His practice includes representing clients in civil, administrative and administrative court proceedings.

In addition, Wojciech has advised on the implementation of data protection requirements, including projects carried out for private educational institutions and online schools.
Alongside his legal practice, he is actively involved in academic research and teaching at the Jagiellonian University. Wojciech serves as the principal investigator of a research project entitled “The Impact of the Nature of Digital Goods on Liability for Breach of Obligation”, funded by the National Science Centre under the Preludium programme.
His academic experience also includes several years of teaching civil law and delivering classes within the postgraduate programme “Contract Law in Consumer and Professional Transactions”.

Education and professional qualifications

Attorney-at-law admitted to the District Chamber of Attorneys-at-Law in Kraków. He completed his attorney-at-law training and passed the professional bar examination in 2020.

Doctor of Laws (2026), awarded with distinction by the Jagiellonian University for a doctoral dissertation entitled “Consumer Withdrawal from a Contract Due to the Lack of Conformity of Digital Content, Digital Services or Goods with Digital Elements”.
Wojciech is also a graduate of the Doctoral School of Social Sciences at the Jagiellonian University and the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University.
In 2017, he received the second prize in the competition organised by the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) for the best master’s thesis in consumer protection law.

Publications

Author of academic publications (including the monograph “The consumer’s right to a court” and articles in academic journals, as well as chapters in collective works in the fields of consumer law, data protection, intellectual property, and new technologies). Co-author of a commentary on the Consumer Rights Act, published in 2025 by C.H. Beck under the editorship of Prof. M. Pecyna. The full list of academic publications is available here.
